Getting Started

Click Register in the top navigation bar. You'll need to provide your name, email address, and a password. You can also add your phone number, address, and let us know how you heard about us. You must read and accept the Terms & Conditions before completing your registration.

Your Bidder Number is a unique identifier assigned to your account by the site administrator. It is used to identify you during auctions, on invoices, and at pickup. You can view your Bidder Number on your Profile page.

On the Login page, click Forgot your password? and enter your email address. You will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

Browsing & Searching

Click Browse Auctions in the top navigation. From there you can:
  • Filter by Category — select a category from the dropdown
  • Filter by Gender — for clothing and accessories (Man, Woman, Boy, Girl, Infant)
  • Filter by Size — sizes load automatically based on the selected category and gender
  • Search — type keywords to search titles and descriptions
  • Buy Now Only — check this box to show only items with a Buy Now price
You can also control how many items are shown per page using the page size selector.

The countdown timer shows how much time remains before bidding closes on that item. When the timer turns yellow, less than 6 hours remain. When it turns red, less than 1 hour remains. Act fast!

A gold star means the item is Featured — highlighted by the site administrator. A red video icon means the item has a video you can watch on the detail page.

When you are logged in, the site analyzes items you've bid on, won, and watchlisted to suggest other active auctions you might be interested in. These personalized recommendations appear at the top of the Browse Auctions page.

Item Conditions

Each item listed on the site includes a condition rating. Here's what each term means so you know what to expect:

The item is brand new and has never been used, worn, or opened. It is in its original, unused condition exactly as it would be found in a retail store.

What to expect:

  • No signs of wear, handling marks, or damage
  • May or may not include original packaging
  • All original parts, accessories, and manuals included (if applicable)
  • Functionally perfect — ready to use right out of the box
Example: A sealed board game, an unworn pair of shoes, a kitchen appliance still in its original packaging.

New In Box (NIB) means the item is brand new and still sealed in its original manufacturer's packaging. The box or packaging has not been opened.

What to expect:

  • Factory-sealed packaging (shrink wrap, tape, stickers intact)
  • Item has never been removed from the box
  • The outer box may have minor shelf wear (small dents, scuffs) from storage
  • All contents are complete and untouched
Example: A sealed LEGO set, a factory-sealed collectible figure, a boxed small appliance with all seals intact.

The item is brand new and has never been used or worn. The original retail tags, labels, or stickers are still attached.

What to expect:

  • All original price tags, hang tags, or brand labels still attached
  • No signs of wear or use
  • Most commonly applies to clothing, shoes, and accessories
  • May have been tried on briefly but never actually worn out
Example: A dress with the store price tag still on, a pair of sneakers with the brand tag attached, a handbag with the brand card and tags.

The item is brand new and has never been used or worn, but the original retail tags, labels, or packaging have been removed or are missing.

What to expect:

  • No signs of wear, washing, or use
  • Tags may have been removed for gifting or storage
  • Item is in the same condition as when purchased, just without tags
  • Common with gifts that were never worn or used
Example: A shirt purchased as a gift with tags removed but never worn, a tool taken out of its packaging but never used.

The item has been used very lightly or only once or twice. It shows no noticeable signs of wear and looks and functions as if it were new.

What to expect:

  • No visible scratches, scuffs, stains, or fading
  • Fully functional — everything works as intended
  • May be missing original packaging or tags
  • You'd have a hard time telling it apart from a brand-new item
Example: A book read once with no creases on the spine, a jacket worn once to an event, electronics used briefly and returned to the box.

The item has been used regularly but is still in solid working condition. It shows minor cosmetic wear that does not affect its functionality.

What to expect:

  • Small scratches, light scuffs, or minor fading may be present
  • Clothing may show light pilling or minor wear at edges
  • All primary functions work correctly
  • No major flaws, cracks, stains, or missing parts
  • Photos and descriptions should note any specific wear
Example: A phone with a few light scratches on the back, a pair of jeans with slight fading, a power tool with surface wear but fully operational.

The item has been well-used and shows clear signs of wear. It is still functional for its intended purpose but has noticeable cosmetic imperfections.

What to expect:

  • Visible scratches, scuffs, dents, stains, or fading
  • Clothing may have pilling, stretched areas, or minor repairs
  • May be missing non-essential accessories (e.g. original box, manual)
  • Core functionality is intact — the item still works
  • Best for buyers looking for a bargain and not concerned about cosmetics
  • Photos and descriptions will show specific flaws
Example: A vintage jacket with faded patches and a small repair, a laptop with screen scratches but working perfectly, furniture with surface nicks and wear marks.

Bidding

Navigate to the item's detail page and enter your bid amount in the bid field. Your bid must be at least the current bid plus the bid increment. Click Place Bid to submit. You must be logged in to bid.

If someone places a higher bid, you will see a red outbid alert on the item page in real time. If you have outbid email notifications enabled (the default), you'll also receive an email so you can come back and bid again. You can manage this setting in Email Preferences.

If a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes before an auction ends, the end time is automatically extended by 2 minutes. This prevents last-second "sniping" and gives all bidders a fair chance to respond. The updated end time is shown in real time.

Some items have a hidden minimum price set by the seller called a Reserve Price. If bidding does not reach the reserve, the item will not be sold. On the item page you'll see either Reserve Not Yet Met or Reserve Met so you know where things stand.

Click My Bids in the top navigation bar to see every auction you've placed a bid on, along with the current status of each item.

Auto-Bid (Proxy Bidding)

Auto-Bid (also called Proxy Bidding) lets you set a maximum amount you're willing to pay. The system will then automatically bid the minimum amount needed to keep you in the lead — up to your max. You won't pay your maximum unless another bidder pushes you there.

Yes! On the item's detail page, you'll see your current max bid displayed. You can enter a new (higher) amount and click Update Max, or click Cancel to remove your proxy bid entirely.

Buy Now

Some items have a Buy Now price set by the seller. Clicking Buy Now immediately wins the auction at the listed price — no waiting for the auction to end. The item is marked as Sold right away.

On the Browse Auctions page, check the Buy Now Only checkbox and click Search. Only items with a Buy Now price will be displayed.

Watchlist

There are two ways:
  • On the Browse Auctions page, click the star button on any item card.
  • On the item's Detail page, click the Add to Watchlist button.
Items you bid on are automatically added to your watchlist.

Click Watchlist in the top navigation bar. You'll see all items you're watching, with their current bid, time remaining, and status. You can remove items from your watchlist at any time.

Notify Me

You can set up to 6 keywords or phrases on the Notify Me page (accessible from the icon in the navigation bar). Whenever a new auction is posted, the system checks the item's title and description for your keywords. If there's a match, you'll receive an email notification with a link to the listing so you can be one of the first to bid.

  • Use specific terms for the best results (e.g. "Air Jordan" instead of just "shoes").
  • Keywords are not case-sensitive — "Nike" and "nike" both work.
  • You'll receive one email per matching item, for the first keyword that matches.
  • To stop notifications, clear all keyword fields and save.
